clear all format from range of cells in Excel
Q124. In Excel, how can I clear all formats (formats alone not data) from a range of cells?
For example, I copied and pasted a Table from a web page. The Table is very poorly formatted - I want to reformat the Table with the existing data.
To do it in Excel, here is the answer:
a) Select the entire range that needs to be reformatted.
b) Under "Home", click on "Clear" under "Editing" section. Click on "Clear Formats" as shown below.
c) All formats are removed from the range selected.
