Q113. In Excel, how can I fill a series of data automatically?

For example, I assign product codes as and when new products are added. The product codes are increments of 1 starting from 17000. Is there an alternative to typing in Product code in every field manually?

To do it in Excel, here is the answer:

a) Manually enter the first 2 values so that Excel can recognize the increment. Then click and drag bottom right corner (where there is a plus mark) to the rest of the column.
