set calculation to manual to save time in Excel

Q94. I have a complex voluminous workbook with lot of formulas. Every time I make an update, the processing is slow. Any workarounds available?

To do it in Excel, here is the answer:

a) Under "Formulas" tab, click on "Calculation Options". By default "Automatic" would be set. Change it to "Manual".
